We will begin by learning chords, arpeggios and scales from tablature, then we will move into sight reading, etc.
 
Pretty much right away we will be playing along with a metronome to get you used to the idea of what it means to have a good sense of timing/tempo.
 
For those players who might be further along, we will begin to tighten up the loose ends or weak spots in your playing technique, then we will progress into learning to play rhythm and lead guitar.

The lessons are given at the student's pace with patient and positive reinforcement. During the lessons we address any bad habits the student may have or improper techniques being used so that we can smooth out the rough edges in theirplaying. Many times there is the misconception that either a person can learn on their own or take a few lessons here and there, but taking sporadic guitar lessons will never yield the expected results.
 
The importance of sticking with your lessons, continuously learning and consistently practicing are all disciplines that you will be reminded of on a pretty frequent basis.
